Signs to watch for

  • Drooling and vomiting
  • Wobbliness
  • Slow breathing or seizures in cats

What to do

Call us immediately if it was licked or swallowed, or applied to fur. Camphor, menthol and wintergreen are all toxic, especially to cats.

Macau note

A staple in Macau medicine cabinets. Never rub medicated oils on a pet: they lick it off and wintergreen is aspirin-like in strength.
