Signs to watch for

  • Vomiting, sometimes with blood
  • Black tarry stool
  • Increased thirst then kidney shutdown
  • Seizures at high doses

What to do

Call us immediately with the tablet strength and count. Stomach ulcers and kidney failure develop fast, and cats are exquisitely sensitive.

Macau note

Sugar-coated human painkillers taste good to dogs, who chew whole blister packs. Store all medicine in closed drawers, not bags or bedside tables.
