Signs to watch for
- Vomiting, sometimes with blood
- Black tarry stool
- Increased thirst then kidney shutdown
- Seizures at high doses
What to do
Call us immediately with the tablet strength and count. Stomach ulcers and kidney failure develop fast, and cats are exquisitely sensitive.

Sugar-coated human painkillers taste good to dogs, who chew whole blister packs. Store all medicine in closed drawers, not bags or bedside tables.
