Triadite in Cats: The Triple Threat
When a cat has concurrent pancreatitis, inflammatory bowel disease, and cholangitis, the condition is called triaditis — a challenging but manageable syndrome.
Triaditis refers to the simultaneous occurrence of three inflammatory conditions in cats: pancreatitis (inflammation of the pancreas), inflammatory bowel disease (IBD, inflammation of the intestines), and cholangitis (inflammation of the bile ducts). These three conditions frequently occur together in cats and share common clinical signs, making diagnosis and treatment complex.
