Signs to watch for
- Drooling and vomiting
- Diarrhoea
- Fast heart rate or breathing difficulty after several bulbs
What to do
Call us immediately if bulbs were eaten, especially a stashed bag. Cut flowers cause mainly mouth irritation and stomach upset.
Macau note
Bulb allergens concentrate toxins; dogs dig up or raid stored bulbs. Bouquet tulips are the milder end of the risk.
