Signs to watch for

  • Drooling and vomiting
  • Diarrhoea
  • Fast heart rate or breathing difficulty after several bulbs

What to do

Call us immediately if bulbs were eaten, especially a stashed bag. Cut flowers cause mainly mouth irritation and stomach upset.

Macau note

Bulb allergens concentrate toxins; dogs dig up or raid stored bulbs. Bouquet tulips are the milder end of the risk.
