Monitor at home

Watch your pet closely for the next 24 hours. If vomiting, weakness or unusual behaviour appears, call us on +853 6677 6611.

Signs to watch for

  • Drooling and vomiting
  • Diarrhoea
  • Weakness after chewing many leaves or twigs

What to do

Remove access and call us if leaves, twigs or seeds were chewed rather than the odd petal. Petals alone usually cause only mild upset.

Macau note

The tall CNY peach blossom branches contain cyanogenic compounds in leaves, bark and pits. Falling petals are the least of the plant's risks.
