Signs to watch for
- Mouth burning and drooling
- Pawing at the face
- Vomiting and reduced appetite
What to do
Rinse the mouth and call us if swelling or repeated vomiting develops. Despite the name it is not a true lily and does not destroy cat kidneys.
Macau note
Often given as an office or condolence plant. Painful for the mouth but far less dangerous to cats than true lilies.
