Signs to watch for
- Vomiting or diarrhoea from the rich fat
- Belly discomfort
- Blockage risk if the seed was swallowed
What to do
Flesh alone: withhold food and monitor. If a large seed was swallowed, call us the same day as it can block the intestine.
Macau note
Durian flesh is not toxic but is extremely fatty. The large seed and spiky husk are the real dangers.
