Signs to watch for

  • Vomiting and diarrhoea
  • Stomach pain
  • Weakness days later if onion content was high

What to do

Call us if more than a lick was eaten. The onion and garlic base is the main concern, plus rich coconut fat that can trigger pancreatitis.

Macau note

Curry fish balls and Macanese curry dishes are built on onion and garlic. Spice irritates but the alliums are what poison.
