Signs to watch for
- Restlessness and pacing
- Racing or irregular heartbeat
- Tremors or seizures
What to do
Call us immediately if grounds, tea leaves, pods or energy drinks were swallowed. A lap of milky coffee is lower risk but still worth a call.
Macau note
Used coffee grounds and discarded tea bags in open bins are concentrated sources. Macau milk tea also contains significant caffeine.
