- Vomiting
- Diarrhoea, sometimes dark
- Lethargy
What to do
Monitor after a small nibble of leaf. Call us if diarrhoea is marked or your cat becomes lethargic; the latex layer is the irritating part.
Macau note
The inner gel used on skin is mild; the yellow latex under the rind is the purgative. Whole-leaf chewing is what causes trouble.
