Signs to watch for
- Lips or skin stuck together
- Retching or gagging
- Vomiting and belly pain with expanding glues
What to do
Do not pull bonded skin apart; call us. If an expanding polyurethane glue was swallowed, come in the same day as it forms a solid mass inside.
Macau note
Ordinary super glue mostly causes sticking injuries, but DIY expanding glues swell into obstructive foam casts in the stomach.
