Signs to watch for

  • Wobbly, drunken behaviour early
  • Vomiting and heavy thirst
  • Apparent recovery, then kidney failure

What to do

Come in immediately, minutes matter: the antidote only works early. If your pet licked any green fluid in a car park, do not wait for signs.

Macau note

Coolant leaks in Macau car parks taste sweet and a few laps can kill a cat. The deceptive 'recovery' phase fools owners into waiting.
