Supporting Macau's Animal Welfare
We believe every animal deserves compassionate care. Royal Veterinary Center is proud to partner with Macau's leading animal welfare organizations — providing veterinary services, emergency treatment, and medical expertise to help rescue animals find their forever homes.
Our Commitment to Animal Welfare
At RVC, we dedicate a portion of our time and resources to supporting the organizations that work tirelessly to protect Macau's animals. From emergency surgeries on rescued strays to routine vaccinations for shelter animals, our veterinary team stands alongside these incredible groups — because no animal should suffer without access to quality medical care.
Our Welfare Partners
The organizations we proudly support

MAWA — Macau Animal Welfare Association

IAM — Municipal Affairs Bureau (Macao Animal Health Control)

IAM operates the Municipal Kennel, manages the lost and found pet registry, and processes adoptions of impounded animals. They played a key role in rehoming greyhounds after the Canidrome closure.

How RVC Helps
Our ongoing commitment to animal welfare in Macau
Emergency Care
We provide emergency veterinary treatment for rescued animals brought in by welfare organizations — often at reduced or no cost.
Vaccinations & Sterilization
Our team runs vaccination and spay/neuter campaigns for shelter animals, helping control Macau's stray population humanely.
Health Screenings
Every animal deserves a clean bill of health. We conduct pre-adoption health checks so families know their new pet is ready for home.
Education & Outreach
We participate in community education events, teaching responsible pet ownership and preventive care to Macau's residents.
Shelter Partnerships
We maintain ongoing relationships with all major Macau welfare groups, providing consistent veterinary support year-round.
Exotic Pet Support
As Macau's only 24-hour exotic animal hospital, we care for rabbits, birds, reptiles, and other non-traditional rescue animals.
